Hello everyone, and (belated) Happy New Year!

Just a quick note to... well.. apologise for the lack of activity here. The Christmas and New Year period has been busy, and so has things like work, so I haven't had much time for outside interests.

There will be an update to this site around February.

After that however, I am not sure. A new website project is in the works, which I hope to replace this current website with. I will let you know more about this as things go, but it will not be a MovableType based system -- I am learning PHP and will create everything from scratch.

I'd also like to thank everyone who has written such nice comments on my blog, and apologise that it takes a while publishing them -- recently the blog has been hit very hard by some comment spammers selling "medicine" (har har) and "entertainment" (he he). I have now sorted a lot of these out and deleted them, so your comments are all published.

I hope that my new system (when it is done) will help with this problem and your comments won't have to wait so long to be filtered out from the crap.

Again, thanks for your patience and lovely comments, and hope you all have had a great New Year's! :)

Just a warning to y'all, there has currently been somebody posting on the internet claiming to have drawn some of my artwork.

I was alerted to this thread at Flyff earlier, where an unknown person has claimed three of my pieces of artwork as their own.

For the record, due to hotlinking I am fairly unlikely to post much artwork to forums outside of a select few. The only two domains besides chibitaryn.net to be allowed are acmlm.org and ff7citadel.com. So pretty much... if it's somewhere else, question it. :)

Thanks again to Jaq for pointing this one out.

UPDATE: The thief has implied that *I* am the one that is an art thief. I am highly offended, and disgusted at this. I have posted an angry rant. I can prove that I drew/painted said pieces, but they can't.

Catharsis: 1 a) purification or purgation of the emotions (as pity and fear) primarily through art
1 b) a purification or purgation that brings about spiritual renewal or release from tension
2 elimination of a complex by bringing it to consciousness and affording it expression

I have been having some difficult times again. Most the time I try to stay cheerful, but it is difficult sometimes. This picture allowed me to express some of the feelings I hide, and otherwise do not allow myself to feel.

I feel much better for having "afforded it expression".

... that and the shopping spree at IKEA helped a bit :D
